He's here!   He's very cute!   Big brown eyes, lots of brown hair, and an adorable cry.  
Rayan entered the world sans problem at 4:18 pm on Sunday, March 2, 2003.

We are happy to confirm that Rayan is in excellent health and is very alert.  He was already doing neck lifts and push ups at less than 24 hours old!  

So far the consensus is that he looks a lot like Dad, but something about the chin reminds one of Mom's maternal Grandfather.
 
And as we expected, Rayan was born with a minor cleft lip, but thankfully his palate was not affected.   Although we think Rayan is heavenly perfection the way he is, the cleft will be repaired in May.

We consider ourselves very blessed with this new addition to our family.
